My mom and I went on a trip for a few days and we loved our stay at Golden Magnolia Marine Resort. The resort is located to many shops that are a short walk and the ocean is about a 20 minutes walk which makes everything very accessible. The history of the building makes it so unique as well. The rooms were very cozy and the beds were very comfortable, especially the one we slept on. Along with that the breakfast they offer is not only delicious, but definitely fills you up for most of the day. We loved our visit and would definitely recommend someone visit next time they are in Daytona Beach.
I was looking for a beachfront hotel for my wife and I for a quick Daytona getaway. Didn't find one but lucked into discovering the Golden Magnolia Marine. This bed and breakfast is amazingly eclectic and the owner is full of stories of the history of the oldest wooden building in town. Vanisha was our hostess/chef and was fantastic. You can walk a short distance to shops and restaurants, the river is across the street, and the ocean is just a few miles away. I had my doubts beforehand but came away so impressed. I am sure we will be back for a longer stay soon.
My girlfriend and I recently attended an upscale event at the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort in Daytona Beach. What an experience it was! Incredible food, enjoyed in a beautiful setting, complete with all the amenities. As someone interested in the history of Florida, it was a pleasure to share an evening in an establishment with such a storied history. It's refreshing to know the owners are taking aggressive measures to restore the traditional values of Florida's noteworthy pioneers from more than a century ago. It was a pleasure being part of that history, even for one night. If you have a chance to go to Golden Magnolia Resort, do it. You'll love the experience!
“Golden Magnolia marine” in Daytona Beach is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. This is an unusual hotel museum with antique furniture and accessories, a collection of hats, and, of course, excellent staff. We were greeted very warmly and like family, and all issues were resolved, Marina gave us a tour of the hotel and her friendliness was terrific. Breakfast is delicious, fresh, nicely presented, and nothing like bad breakfasts elsewhere. I recommend going there and I will come back.
We had the most beautiful stay at this historic bed and breakfast with a breathtaking view of the marina. It’s located a short walk from adorable shops and restaurants and a 5 minute drive from the beach. Each room has a theme and is decorated with quality pieces hand picked by the owner who is the kindest most hospitable woman. The dining area is cozy and quaint with gorgeous antiques fitting perfectly into the oldest building in Daytona. I’m confident that this will be our home away from home for every Florida vacation.
We had a lovely stay here for a short weekend trip. Absolutely adored the house, it was elegant and full of interesting historical decorations. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable. We were offered a glass of wine once we checked in which was a relaxing way to start our stay. The breakfast was delicious, we sat outside on the porch and the weather was perfect. You can see the marina from there. The owner Marina was lovely and so welcoming, we enjoyed getting to know her and hear the history behind the house. Already looking forward to our next visit!
We had a good time at the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort for Thanksgiving celebration. We had a wonderful time! Beautiful company, decorations and table settings……food was delicious. Service was great. We definitely would like to come back and recommend this place for other holiday celebrations. I had an incredible stay at the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort - Daytona Beach. Valisha the Inn Keeper was so friendly and attentive to my needs. The room was pristine, the most comfortable bed and duvet cover - I slept like a baby. It is just super cute, you have to see yourself. Can't wait to come back, I highly recommend!
